The Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health (D²4H) thrives to discover the unfulfilled niche of careful and proper curation of data resources, and bridge the gap in developing novel, deep analytics that can stand up to scientific scrutiny.
One of the major outputs of the D²4H will be a platform that combines all the metagenomic data in the world into a single integrated databank for detecting emerging pathogens. Other specialised areas will be the development of new treatments for non-communicable diseases, and the advancement of the application and speed of “omic” data, which is essential to personalised medicine.
