Study finds the possibility of heart inflammation after COVID-19 vaccination
Three Co-Principal Investigators of the Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health (D24H) – Dr Esther Chan, Dr Eric Wan and Dr Francisco Lai have jointly published a study suggesting that men and young adults are more prone to myocarditis (also known as inflammation of heart muscle) after taking a second dose of BioNTech vaccine, however, the probability of that happening is still extremely low.
The research was conducted with big data analysis which shows the side-effects of COVID-19 vaccination for different groups of people.
