D²4H showcases R&D innovations at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva

Our Lead Scientist, Professor Joshua Ho, along with his team—including students from the University of Hong Kong, Elison Lee and Nicholas Kwok—has been showcasing their R&D innovations at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva at Palexpo Geneva.

The team had the opportunity to present two of their latest innovations, Vitomind and Sphygmio. Both innovations were introduced to a diverse international audience at the exhibition.

Vitomind is a personalised mindfulness AI mobile application aimed at supporting the well-being of medical students. It offers a real-time physiological monitoring system for biofeedback and a personalisation system for customised mindfulness training pathways with adaptive meditation guidance. Vitomind’s smartphone-native monitoring requires no additional devices, providing a seamless experience.

Sphygmio, on the other hand, is an AI-powered blood pressure monitoring tool that uses AI algorithms to compute multiple vital signs, including heart rate, HRV, heart sounds, and blood pressure. It requires only a mobile device, eliminating barriers to emergency monitoring in any region. Sphygmio is cost-effective and can be incorporated into any telemedicine platform.
