Our Lead Scientist, Professor Joshua Ho, and his team have been showcasing at the InnoCarnival 2024 organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission at Hong Kong Science Park. Professor Ho had the opportunity to present the award-winning product Vitogram^® to Professor Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, alongside other participants.

The Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health has registered Vitogram^®, a patented artificial intelligence (AI) technology developed by Professor Joshua Ho and his research team, in the medical device listing of the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Vitogram^® is an innovative AI software system that can turn an ordinary mobile phone into a medical-grade stethoscope, allowing anyone to use a smartphone to detect heart disease symptoms at their fingertips, and subsequently seek immediate medical attention, without the need for other specialised devices.
